GetCV is an AI-powered resume builder operated by DeCompliance, an independent initiative based in the United Kingdom. GetCV helps individuals import, edit, format, and download professional resumes with assistance from artificial intelligence.
To use GetCV you must create an account with a valid email address and a password of at least 8 characters. You are responsible for:

You retain all rights to the resume content you upload or create in GetCV. This includes your uploaded files, text you enter, and any resumes you save to your account. We claim no ownership over your content.

Before sending your resume anywhere important — a job application, a client, a professional network — read through it carefully and correct anything wrong. GetCV is a tool to accelerate your work, not a replacement for your judgment. You are responsible for the accuracy of any resume you export.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
We provide GetCV "as is" and "as available". We make reasonable efforts to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance, unexpected outages, and third-party service disruptions may occur.
Features and templates may be added, changed, or removed as the service evolves.
The GetCV name, branding, design, templates, code, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of DeCompliance and its founder. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from these without written permission.
Your rights to your own resume content are unaffected by this section.
GetCV relies on third-party services including Anthropic (for AI processing), Railway (for hosting), and Cloudflare (for networking). We are not responsible for the performance or policies of these services, though we choose them carefully. See our Privacy Policy for details on how these third parties handle your data.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DeCompliance and its founder shall not be liable for:

We provide GetCV without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will meet your specific requirements, be error-free, be secure against all threats, or produce resumes that will lead to employment outcomes.
You may stop using GetCV and delete your account at any time (see Privacy Policy section 08).
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we suspect fraudulent or abusive use, or if we are required to by law. Where possible, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to export your saved resumes before termination.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of GetCV shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms as GetCV evolves. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email and posted here with an updated date. Continued use of GetCV after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
